1. Purpose: This policy outlines the procedures and requirements for adjusting the retail and distributor pricing of Xango Wisdom products. It ensures that price changes are communicated fairly and implemented consistently across all global markets.
2. Scope: This policy applies to all nutritional supplements, personal care items, and wellness products marketed under the Xango Wisdom brand. It governs price adjustments for:
- Standard retail sales.
- Independent distributor wholesale rates.
- Subscription and loyalty program pricing.
3. Price Adjustment Criteria: Pricing may be reviewed and adjusted based on the following factors:
- Raw Material Costs: Fluctuations in the cost of key ingredients, such as mangosteen puree or botanical extracts.
- Logistics: Changes in international shipping, customs duties, or distribution center overhead.
- Economic Factors: Inflationary pressures or significant currency exchange rate volatility in international markets.
- Competitive Positioning: Periodic adjustments to maintain market leadership in the wellness and longevity category.
4. Notification Requirements: To maintain transparency and trust within our community of independent distributors and customers:
- Advance Notice: Xango Wisdom will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any permanent price increase.
- Communication Channels: Notifications will be issued via the official Xango Wisdom website, distributor back-office portals, and email newsletters.
- Promotional Pricing: Short-term sales or limited-time offers are exempt from the 30-day notice requirement but must be clearly dated.
5. Price Protection & Adjustments
- Historical Orders: Price changes will not be applied retroactively to orders already processed or in transit.
- Subscription Locks: Customers on active "Auto-Ship" or subscription plans may be granted a grace period of one billing cycle before new pricing takes effect.
- Adjustment Requests: One-time price adjustments (e.g., if a price drops within 14 days of purchase) may be requested through Customer Support as a courtesy.
6. Policy Governance. This policy is maintained by the Xango Wisdom Finance Department and will be reviewed annually to ensure alignment with international direct selling regulations and corporate objectives.
